WRC maintains the Online Awards and Agreements (OLAA) database which is Australia's most comprehensive and authoritative database of enterprise agreements. The OLAA Database is a handy and unique resource for IR/HR practitioners who need to keep up to date with provisions in enterprise agreements. The OLAA Database provides detailed up-to-date information on over 16,000 registered enterprise agreements in the Federal, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australian and South Australian jurisdictions.
The Coder's role is to read the content of enterprise agreements, Awards and Australian Workplace Agreements (AWAs) and index the presence of clauses to an online coding frame.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must have the following:
knowledge of the enterprise bargaining agreements
knowledge of the major components of the Australian Industrial Relations system
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow set procedures
Desireable Criteria
Experience with a broad range of computer software including:
Excel
Word
Adobe acrobat
OCR or text recognition software
Internet research skills.
Additional Information
Full-time and part-time work may be available, minimum of 2 days per week.
Hours of work are performed during business hours spanning from Monday to Friday
