Casual Night Editor - Macquarie Research Equities

Macquarie Research Equities is the cornerstone of Macquarie Equities’ stockbroking service and is acknowledged as an industry leader. With global operations and coverage of more than 700 stocks, the business is expanding. As part of this expansion, Macquarie Bank is looking to appoint Night Production Editors to edit, format and publish equities reports for an important client readership.

Working to a house style and aiming for the highest quality standards, you will be responsible for editing, formatting and publishing documents, and following established publishing processes and procedures.

The role will involve shift work two nights per week, usually from 5pm to midnight. However, hours do vary. During company reporting season (February and August) and for a preliminary training period applicants will need to be available to work extra shifts, for which they will be well rewarded.

Desired experience:

• demonstrated editorial experience
• desk top publishing experience
• good priority management
• sound communication skills
• immaculate attention to detail
• the ability to cope well in a sometimes pressured environment
• well developed PC (particularly Word) skills
• the ability to work alone and as part of a dynamic team
